Kompensan 340mg it is indicated for the symptomatic relief of gastrointestinal disorders, such as heartburn and heart attack, due to hyperacidity.

Active substances: 340 mg of aluminum dihydride and sodium carbonate (equivalent to 300 mg of aluminum dihydride and anhydrous sodium carbonate).

The action of sodium aluminum hydroxide carbonate is similar to that of aluminum hydroxide and is based on the neutralization of hydrochloric acid secreted by the gastric mucosa. Aluminum ions have astringent activity and a certain anti-inflammatory action. This effect is particularly useful in patients with gastric ulcers and irritation or inflammation of the gastric mucosa.

Posology and method of administration:

The maximum recommended daily dose of sodium aluminum hydroxide carbonate is 2.72 g (8 tablets for sucking), over a period of 24 hours, taken in separate doses and which should not exceed 680 mg (2 tablets for sucking) ) for each dose. Administer 1 to 2 tablets to suck between meals or at bedtime. The tablets should be sucked or chewed but should not be swallowed.

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
