Salonpas Pain Relief Medicated Plaster 5 units

Salonpas Pain Relief is a non-prescription medication indicated for the symptomatic relief of muscle and joint pain associated with sprains and strains.

Active substance: Each medicated plaster contains 10% methyl salicylate (105 mg) and 3% levomenthol (31.5 mg).

Dosage and method of administration:

Apply a patch to the affected area and leave it there for 8 to 12 hours. If pain recurs 8 to 12 hours after applying the first patch, a second patch can be applied. Use only one patch at a time. Do not use more than two patches per day. Do not use for more than three days in a row. It is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age due to insufficient data on safety and efficacy.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or any of the excipients. Patients in whom substances with a similar mechanism of action have caused asthma attacks, bronchospasms, acute rhinitis, nasal polyps, urticaria, or angioedema; severe heart failure, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, gastrointestinal bleeding or other active bleeding or bleeding disorders; third trimester of pregnancy. The patch should not be used on open wounds or on skin with pathological changes, such as eczema, acne, dermatitis, inflammation, or infection of any nature, or on the mucous membranes of body orifices, nor should it come into contact with the eyes.

According to current legislation, non-prescription medications in Portugal can only be delivered to the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo, and Vila do Conde. This restriction does not apply to shipments to other European Union Member States.
