Voltaren Emulgelex 23.2mg/g Gel 150g

Voltaren Emulgelex is a non-prescription medicine indicated for the treatment of joint, back and body pain.

Active substance: Contains 23.2 mg of diclofenac diethylammonium, corresponding to 20 mg of diclofenac sodium.

Dosage and method of administration:

Applied twice a day, morning and evening. It should be gently rubbed into the skin in the affected areas. The amount needed depends on the size of the painful area: 2 g to 4 g of gel is enough to treat an area of approximately 400-800 cm2. After application: hands must be cleaned with absorbent paper, and then washed, except in cases where these are the area to be treated. Absorbent paper must be placed in the trash after use. Patients should wait until it dries before bathing.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. In patients whose asthma attacks, urticaria or acute rhinitis are precipitated by acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Last trimester of pregnancy. Use in children and adolescents under 14 years of age is contraindicated.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to medical prescription, in Portugal, can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde.
