Zenteverme 100mg 6 tablets

Zenteverme is a non-prescription medication indicated for the treatment of intestinal endoparasitosis caused by: Necator americanus (hookworm), Ancylostoma duodenale (hookworm), Ascaris lumbricoides (ascariasis), Enterobius vermiculares (enterobiasis or oxyuriasis), Trichuris trichiura (trichocephaliasis), Angiostrogylus cantonensis (angiostrongylosis), Strongyloides stercoralis (strongyloidias), Trichinella spiralis (trichinosis) and/or Taenia spp. (taeniasis)

Active substance: Each tablet contains 100mg of mebendazole as the active substance.

Dosage and method of administration:

In adults, although favorable results were obtained with the previous dosage, a dose of 2 tablets morning and evening for 3 days is suggested in order to increase the percentage of cure, close to 100%. Repeat the treatment after 2 to 4 weeks. For children, one tablet is recommended morning and evening for 3 days. Repeat the treatment after 2 to 4 weeks.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Pregnancy or when its existence is suspected, as the mutagenic potential of mebendazole in humans has not yet been evaluated.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a medical prescription, in Portugal, can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
