Teniverme 20mg/ml Oral Suspension 30ml

Teniverme 20mg/ml Oral Suspension is indicated for the treatment of parasitic infections caused by; Ancylostoma duodenale , Angiostrongylus cantonensis , Ascaris lumbricoides , Capillaria philippinensis , Enterobius vermicularis , Gnahostoma spnigerum , Necator americanus , Strongyloides stercoralis , Trichinella spiralis , Trichuris trichiura and Onchocerca volvulus (in alternative therapy). It is also indicated for the treatment of parasitic infections caused by some tapeworms, including Hymenolepis nana , Taenia saginata , Taenia solium and Echinococcus granulosus .

Active substances: 100mg of flubendazole.

Dosage and method of administration:

Teniverme® dosage is the same for adults and children. Thus: In oxyuriasis, 5 ml of suspension or 1 tablet. Due to the parasitic cycle, the intake must be renewed after 15 days in order to avoid self-infestation and reinfestation. In ascariasis, trichocephaliasis, hookworm and mixed infections, 5 ml of suspension or 1 tablet morning and evening for 6 consecutive days. Taeniasis: 5ml of oral suspension or 1 tablet in the morning and in the evening, for 6 consecutive days.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Pregnant women or women who may be pregnant.
