Fenolip 20mg/ml Eye Drops 10ml

Fenolip 20mg/ml Eye drops is indicated for the preventive treatment of perennial or seasonal allergic conjunctivitis with previous medical diagnosis.

Active substance: Sodium cromoglycate.

The mechanism of action of cromolyn sodium is to prevent the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators.

Dosage and method of administration:

Instill 1 drop in each eye 4 times a day. The dosage applies equally to adults and children over 4 years of age. Treatment with Fenolip should be continued, even after the complaints have disappeared, in situations where patients are exposed to the allergen (pollen, dust, fungal spores, etc.). Avoid contact with soft contact lenses. Remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before replacing them.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

In accordance with current legislation, non-prescription medicines in Portugal can only be delivered to the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
