Vasoflon Bioflavonoids 500mg 120 tablets

Vasoflon Bioflavonoids 500mg is a medication indicated for the treatment of signs and symptoms of chronic venous disease of the legs (such as pain, heaviness, tiredness in the legs and edema) and symptoms related to acute hemorrhoidal crisis in adults.

Active substance: Each 500 mg film-coated tablet contains 450 mg (90%) of diosmin and 50 mg of flavonoids, expressed as hesperidin (10%).

Dosage and method of administration:

Chronic venous disease: The usual dose is 2 tablets per day, taken in one dose or in two divided doses. Treatment should be continued for 4 to 5 weeks. The patient should consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen, or if the medication is needed for more than 4 to 5 weeks. Acute hemorrhoidal crisis: 6 tablets per day (3 tablets twice a day or 2 tablets three times a day) for the first 4 days, then 4 tablets per day (2 tablets twice a day) for the following 3 days. In this indication, Bioflavonoids Vasoflon is intended for short-term use only. The patient should consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen, or if the medication is needed for more than 7 days.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
