Emoflon Rectal Ointment 25g

Emoflon Rectal Ointment is a sucralfate-based rectal ointment, to which plant extracts and lubricating agents are added, for the treatment of symptoms associated with hemorrhoidal disease and its complications.

Characteristics:

• Sucralfate provides a triple action: it protects the anal mucosa, relieves itching and inflammation and regenerates and heals wounds, also reducing the risk of cracks and injuries caused by defecation.
• Treatment of symptoms associated with haemorrhoidal disease and its complications (eg eczema and anal fissures).

Advice for use:

It must be placed on the periphery of the anus, after defecation or sitz bath, or inside the rectum (small portion, the size of a pea) using the applicator. Make sure that the tube and the applicator are correctly screwed on. It is a class IIa medical device manufactured by Egis Pharmaceuticals PLC (CE2409). Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to lanolin or other ingredients present in this product. Do not use on bleeding hemorrhoids. The use of Emoflon rectal ointment is not contraindicated during pregnancy or lactation; however, in these cases, it is advisable to consult a doctor. It can be used for 4 weeks without interruption.
