Densileg 500mg 60 pills

Densileg is a non-prescription medicine indicated for adults for the treatment of signs and symptoms of chronic venous disease such as pain, heaviness, nocturnal cramps, edema and trophic changes of the lower limbs and/or treatment of symptoms related to the acute hemorrhoidal crisis.

Active substance: Each film-coated tablet contains 500 mg of micronized flavonoids, containing 450 mg of diosmin and 50 mg of other flavonoids expressed as hesperidin

Dosage and method of administration:

The usual daily dose is 2 tablets, taken as a single dose or in 2 divided doses. Treatment should continue for at least 4 to 5 weeks. Acute hemorrhoidal crisis should be taken during the first 4 days of treatment, the daily dose is 6 tablets (administered as 3 tablets twice daily). For the next 3 days the recommended daily dose is 4 tablets (administered as 2 tablets twice daily). The recommended daily dose for maintenance treatment is 2 tablets daily (administered as 1 tablet twice daily).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

In accordance with the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription, in Portugal, can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
