Ben-u-ron 500mg 20 tablets

Ben-u-ron is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of clinical situations that require an analgesic and/or an antipyretic, such as:

• Symptoms associated with flu-like conditions;
• Fever (lasting less than 3 days);
• Hyperergic reactions to vaccination;
• Mild to moderate headaches;
• Migraines with prior medical diagnosis, of mild to moderate intensity;
• Mild to moderate toothache;
• Otalgias of mild to moderate intensity;
• Dysmenorrhea of mild to moderate intensity;
• Traumatic, muscular and joint pain, of mild to moderate intensity.

Active substance: 500mg of paracetamol.

Paracetamol has pharmacological properties of proven efficacy as an analgesic and antipyretic, although it demonstrates a weak anti-inflammatory effect.

Dosage and method of administration:

The recommended dose of Ben-u-ron depends on age and body weight. Ben-u-ron 500mg is intended for administration to adults (including the elderly) and children aged 12 years and over. Administration may be repeated at intervals of 6 to 8 hours. If necessary, the interval can be at least 4 hours, and should not exceed 6 tablets per day. Ben-u-ron 500mg is administered orally. The tablets should be swallowed with a sufficient amount of liquid, preferably a glass of water (200 ml).

According to the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
