Liposic 2mg/g Ophthalmic Gel 10g

Liposic 2 mg/g Ophthalmic Gel is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of dry eye syndrome.

Active substances: 2mg/g of carbomer.

Carbomer is a high molecular weight hydrophilic polymer. Its pH and osmolality are similar to those of the normal tear film. Due to its physical properties, ophthalmic gel binds to water and forms a translucent lubricant and aqueous film on the surface of the eye. The structure of the gel is destroyed by the salts contained in the tear fluid and releases moisture.

Dosage and method of administration:

Treatment of dry eye requires an individualized dosage regimen. According to the severity and intensity of the symptoms, instill one drop in the conjunctival sac 3-5 times a day; and approximately 30 minutes before going to bed (due to the risk of sticking the eyelids together). Eye Use. Generally, in the treatment of keratoconjunctivitis sicca, an ophthalmologist should be consulted, as the treatment is usually prolonged or permanent. The optimal drop size is obtained when the tube is placed vertically in relation to the eye during instillation.
