Otodine is an ear cleaning solution recommended as an adjunct in the treatment of chronic and recurrent bacterial otitis in dogs and cats.
Characteristics:
- Composition: Chlorhexidine digluconate (0.15 mg) and Tris-EDTA buffered to pH 8 with lactic acid (0.25 g)
- It is an ear cleaning solution with a patented formula that incorporates the dual action of chlorhexidine digluconate and TrisEDTA, both effective antibacterial agents.
Usage advice:
Pour the product into the animal's ear until it is completely filled, avoiding touching the skin with the tip of the package. With a compress, massage the inside of the ear, with a movement from the base to the top, for 1 minute, in order to facilitate the removal of material. Dry the ear with the aid of a dry compress. Apply the solution 1 or 2 times a day for 14 days or as determined by the veterinarian.
