Angelini Oxolamine Cough Syrup 10mg/ml 250ml

Angelini Oxolamina Cough Syrup is a non-prescription medicine indicated for the symptomatic relief of dry, uncomfortable and persistent cough.

Active substance: Oxolamine citrate: 1 g (equivalent to 0.56 g of oxolamine) Each ml of syrup contains 579 mg of sucrose, 0.7 mg of methyl p-hydroxybenzoate and 0.3 mg of Ponceau red 4R.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults: 10 ml (in the measuring cup) every 4 hours. Children: Ages 4 months to 2 years: 7.5 mg/kg/day or 2.5 ml (in the measuring cup) 3 times a day. Ages 2 to 10 years: 7.5 mg/kg/day or 5 ml (in a measuring cup) 3 times a day. In children, the duration of treatment should not exceed 5 days, unless medically indicated otherwise.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to oxolamine citrate or to any of the excipients.

In accordance with current legislation, non-prescription medicines in Portugal can only be delivered to the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
