Catabin Syrup 200ml

Catabina Syrup is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of dry, spasmodic, irritating, poorly productive or exaggerated cough.

Active substances: dropropizine.

Dropropizine is a peripheral cough sedative that acts on the peripheral receptors of the tracheobronchial mucosa.

Posology and method of administration:

Adults: The average dose is 5 ml (see corresponding level on the measuring spoon) 6 to 8 times a day. Pediatric population: From 6 months to 3 years: 1.25 ml (see corresponding level on measuring spoon), 3 to 4 times a day. From 3 to 6 years: 2.5 ml (see corresponding level on the measuring spoon), 3 to 4 times a day. From 6 to 13 years: 5 ml (see corresponding level on the measuring spoon), 3 to 4 times a day.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
