Basiflux 0.8mg/g Syrup 200ml

Basiflux 0.8mg/g Syrup it is a mucolytic adjuvant in the antibacterial treatment of respiratory infections in the presence of bronchial hypersecretion.

Active substances: 0.8 mg bromhexine/ml syrup.

Bromhexine works by increasing the amount of secretions while reducing their viscosity.

Dosage and method of administration:

Syrup 4 mg/5 ml (5 ml=1 teaspoon). The package contains a measuring spoon to facilitate measurements. Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml (2 teaspoons) 3 times a day. Children 6-12 years: 5 ml (1 teaspoon), 3 times a day. Children 2-6 years: 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoon), 3 times a day. Children under 2 years: 1.25 ml (1/4 teaspoon) 3 times a day. (Should only be given to children under 2 years of age under medical supervision).

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
