Mucosolvan Syrup 200ml

Mucosolvan is indicated when there is sputum. Its fluidizing action reduces the viscosity of respiratory secretions, facilitating the release of sputum. It facilitates and accelerates the elimination of mucus from the pulmonary alveoli with its fluidizing and expectorating action.

Active substance: Ambroxol hydrochloride (6 mg/ml).

Posology and method of administration:

Children from 1 to 2 years: 2.5 ml, twice daily (corresponding to 1.6 mg/kg of body weight). Children from 2 to 5 years: 2.5 ml, 3x/day (corresponding to 1.25 mg/kg of body weight). Children from 6 to 12 years: 5 ml, 2 -3x/day (corresponding to 1.2 mg/kg of body weight). Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml, twice a day. Treatment should not be exceeded for more than 5-7 days without consulting the treating physician. It can be taken with or without food.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
