Pepsamar 240mg 60 tablets

Pepsamar 240mg quickly relieves heartburn, stomach upset, acidity and stomach upset.

Active substances: 240 mg of aluminum hydroxide.

Aluminum hydroxide is a non-absorbable antacid, which, once ingested, reacts with the hydrochloric acid in the gastric contents, reducing the acidity to pH values between 3.5 and 4.5.

Dosage and method of administration:

1 to 4 chewable tablets, between meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day or as directed by your doctor. Administration to children is not recommended. Oral administration.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. The use of medicines containing aluminum hydroxide is contraindicated during treatments with tetracyclines, quinolones and other substances that form complexes with aluminum, since the antacid interferes with the absorption of these antibiotics. Administration to patients with renal impairment is contraindicated.
