Aeroforte is indicated for pigeons in the following situations:

  • Excellent support during breathing problems
  • Reduced heat stress
  • To dissolve superficial mucus, clearing the airways
  • Preventing bacteria and fungi growth in the respiratory tract
  • Increases energy metabolism and oxygen supply
  • Increased consumption of food and water
  • Prevention of possible vaccine reactions

Active ingredients: Water, ethanol, eucalyptus, mint, menthol and emulsifiers.

- Antimicrobial properties: The main mechanism of action of these essential oils in bacteria, viruses and fungi is based on the ability to pierce the lipid barrier, increasing permeability and preventing cell multiplication. They also cause changes in the enzyme system, interrupting the metabolism of microorganisms.

- Stimulation of digestion: An important part of the action of essential oils is the stimulation of bile secretions and digestive enzymes. It causes an improvement in food digestibility and an increase in nutrients available to the animal.

- Thermal stress (caused by high temperatures - Summer): When there is an increase in room temperature, there is a decrease in food consumption, protein digestion, resistance to diseases and fertility and an increase in metabolic disorders. These events cause a decrease in the expected technical yields. Providing supplements through drinking water is therefore an excellent method to help animals when they need it most. Menthol stimulates the oral mucosa through sensory receptors, reducing the negative effect of thermal stress.

Posology and route of administration:

Mix the indicated dose of Aeroforte with hot water up to 40 ºC. The diluted Aeroforte solution can be added 24 hours a day for 3 to 4 days. Sport birds (moulting, breeding, sports season and periods of high temperatures): 0.2 ml / 1 L of water twice a week (arrival and basketing period). Spray: 20 ml / 1 L of warm water.
