WeCysto® is a complementary compound food developed to support urinary function. WeCysto® has a combination of structural agents such as Hyaluronic Acid and Glucosaminoglycans, responsible for the internal lining of the bladder, Omega 3 as an anti-inflammatory component and also L-Tryptophan for stress reduction.

Cystitis is defined as inflammation of the bladder, which can have several causes, namely bacterial, stress, urinary stones, defects in the protective layer of the bladder (Glucosaminoglycans - GAG's) and even neoplasms or polyps.

The most common causes of this inflammation vary depending on the species, gender and age. In the case of cats, compared to humans and dogs, cystitis is more common at ages below 10 years, affecting females and males equally (with males being an urgent situation due to the risk of obstruction). The most predisposed feline breeds are domestic and shorthaired Persians. Normally, cats that develop this type of pathology live in a room with no access to the outside, with several cats, are based on a dry diet and often an above-ideal body condition.
