Animals affected by chronic kidney disease (CKD) show a progressive and irreversible loss of kidney function. For this reason, the kidneys lose the ability to perform glomerular filtration and excretory function, concentrate urine and maintain adequate levels of electrolytes.

CKD is more common in geriatric animals and certain breeds. In dogs, there is a greater predisposition in Cocker Spaniel, Terriers, Beagles, Golden Retrievers and Shih-Tzu. In cats, there is a higher incidence in Persian, Somali, Himalayan and Abyssinian breeds.

This supplement helps maintain kidney function in dogs and cats with chronic kidney failure.

Mechanism of action:

The active ingredients of Dialix® r canine and feline help maintain kidney function in dogs and cats due to its triple action:

• Renal protector: omega-3 (epa and dha fatty acids), glutinous Rehmannia, Astragalus membranaceus, Cordyceps sinensis, L-arginine, DMG, choline, inositol and lecithin.

• Diuretic: Udioica rtica, glutinous Rehmania, vitamin B6 and choline.

• Repositioning of vitamins and minerals lost with high diuresis: vitamins B1, B2, B6, B9 (folic acid), B12 and potassium.

Directions for use:

1 chew for every 15 kg of weight, once a day or divided into two (morning and night).
