Cytopoint is a veterinary medicine indicated for the treatment of clinical manifestations of atopic dermatitis in dogs.

Active substance: Lokivetmab 30mg

Lokivetmab is a caninized monoclonal antibody obtained by recombinant technology from Chinese hamster ovary cells. Lokivetmab, is a caninized monoclonal antibody (mAc) with a specific target for canine interleukin-31. Blocking IL-31 by lokivetmab prevents IL-31 from binding to its co-receptor and thus inhibits cell-mediated signaling, causing relief of pruritus related to Atopic Dermatitis and anti-inflammatory activity.

Posology and route of administration:

Subcutaneous route.

Avoid stirring the excess solution and foaming. Administer the entire contents (1 ml) of the vial.

The recommended minimum dose is 1 mg / kg of body weight, once a month. For dogs over 40 kg, the content of more than one bottle is required to administer a single dose.
