Milpro Small Dogs 2.5/25mg 24 tablets

Milpro Small Dogs 2.5/25mg is a medicine indicated for the treatment of mixed infections caused by adult tapeworms and nematodes of the following species: Tapeworms: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp. and Nematodes: Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina.

The veterinary medicinal product may also be administered for the prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis), if concomitant treatment against tapeworms is indicated.

Active substances:

Milbemycin oxime 2.5 mg + Praziquantel 25 mg.

Dosage and route of administration:

Oral administration. Do not administer to dogs under 2 weeks of age and/or weighing less than 0.5 kg.

Minimum recommended dose: 0.5 mg of milbemycin oxime and 5 mg of praziquantel per kg, as a single oral dose. The veterinary medicinal product should be administered with or after food. The tablets have a meaty aroma and are easy to administer (dogs and puppies generally ingest them voluntarily even without food).

Depending on the dog's live weight, the practical doses are as follows:

0.5 to 1 kg - 1/2 tablet

>1 to 5 kg - 1 tablet

>5-10 kg 2 tablets
