Mentocaine Anti-Inflam 8.75mg 24 lozenges

Mentocaine Anti-Inflam 8.75mg is indicated for the short-term symptomatic relief of sore throat in adults and children over 12 years of age.

Active substances: flurbiprofen.

Flurbiprofen has potent analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and children over 12 years: Slowly suck/dissolve one lozenge in the mouth every 3 to 6 hours as needed. Maximum of 5 tablets per 24 hour period. It is recommended that this product be used for a maximum of three days. Pediatric population: Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Patients who have previously developed hypersensitivity reactions (eg asthma, bronchospasm, rhinitis, angioedema or urticaria) in response to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Recurrent or previous active peptic ulcer/bleeding (two or more distinct episodes with proven ulceration) and intestinal ulceration. History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, severe colitis, bleeding or hematopoietic disorders related to previous NSAID therapy. Last trimester of pregnancy. Heart failure, kidney failure or severe liver failure.
