Dolostop Duo 500mg/150mg It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain.

Active substance: 500 mg of acetaminophen and 150 mg of ibuprofen.

Paracetamol appears to induce analgesia by increasing the pain threshold. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug derived from propionic acid with marked anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic properties. Its mechanism of action derives from its inhibitory action on prostaglandin synthesis. Prostaglandins play an essential role in the onset of fever, pain and inflammation.

Dosage and method of administration:

For oral administration and short-term use only (no more than 3 days). The usual dose is one tablet (500 mg paracetamol and 150 mg ibuprofen) to two tablets (1000 mg paracetamol and 300 mg ibuprofen) taken every six hours as needed, up to a maximum of six tablets in 24 hours . The maximum recommended daily dose is 3000 mg acetaminophen and 900 mg ibuprofen.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
