Hextril Oral Solution 200ml

Hextril is indicated for use in minor infections of the mouth, including candidiasis, as an adjunct in the prevention and treatment of gingivitis and in the control of pharyngeal complications and recurrent aphthous ulcers. Hextril is also indicated for halitosis and dental surgery in pre and post operative care.

It is also indicated in oral hygiene, including in the prevention and control of dental plaque.

Active substance: Hexetidine 1 mg / ml

Hexetidine is a broad spectrum antimicrobial. It is active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as yeasts (Candida albicans) and fungi.

Posology and method of administration:

Topical administration in the oral cavity.

Rinse or gargle with at least 15 ml of undiluted solution, two or three times a day. Do not swallow.

Hextril must not be diluted before use.

Adults and children over 6 years.

According to the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
