Vibrocil Actilong Protect Nasal Spray 10ml

Vibrocil ActilongProtect is indicated in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in rhinitis and to stimulate healing of the nasal mucosa, for the treatment of paroxysmal rhinorrhea (vasomotor rhinitis) and nasal obstruction after surgery. to the nose and to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in rhinitis associated with acute inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (rhinosinusitis).

Active substances: 1 ml of solution contains 1.0 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride and 50.0 mg of dexpanthenol.

Xylometazoline hydrochloride has vasoconstrictor properties thus reducing mucosal swelling. Dexpanthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid, a vitamin whose properties promote wound healing and protect the mucosa.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older: One spray in each nostril as needed, but up to a maximum of 3 times a day. It should not be used for more than 7 consecutive days, unless medically recommended.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

In accordance with current legislation, non-prescription medicines in Portugal can only be delivered to the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
