Oximetazolina Farmoz 0.5mg/ml Nasal Spray Solution 15ml

Oxymetazoline Farmoz 0.5mg/ml Nasal Spray Solution is indicated for the symptomatic relief of nasal congestion in situations such as sinusitis, acute rhinitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis or vasomotor rhinitis.

Active substances: 0.5mg/ml of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.

Dosage and method of administration:

Nasal route. Oxymetazoline Farmoz is indicated in adults and children from 6 years of age. It should not be used in children under the age of 6 years. Adults and children from 6 years: 1 spray in each nostril, 2 to 3 times a day. Oxymetazoline Farmoz should not be used for a period longer than 10 consecutive days, unless prescribed by a doctor. There should be a withdrawal period of a few days before repeat use of Oxymetazoline Farmoz. Long-term use and overdose should be avoided, particularly in children. Doses higher than those recommended can only be used under medical supervision. Method of administration: On first use, the spray system must be activated. To do this, remove the cap, hold the vial with your hand and press several times until a nebulization appears. After this procedure, the system is ready for use. Insert the nosepiece into each nostril and press once. After use, clean the nosepiece and put on the protective cap.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Dry rhinitis. Children under the age of 6 years.
