Neo-Sinefrina 5mg/ml Nasal Drops 15ml
Medicine not subject to medical prescription indicated in all situations where there is nasal congestion, such as coryza, rhinitis, and inusitis .
Neo-Synephrine is indicated in all situations where there is nasal congestion, such as coryza, rhinitis, and sinusitis.
Active substances: Phenylephrine hydrochloride.
Phenylephrine is a very effective topical vasoconstrictor.
Dosage and method of administration:
Administer via the nasal route. Neo-Synephrine 5 mg/ml is intended for use by adults. In adolescents and adults, the recommended dose is 2 to 3 nasal drops, 5mg/ml solution, in each nostril, at intervals of 3 to 4 hours. In particularly sensitive adults, where the use of NeoSynephrine 2.5 mg/ml is considered indicated instead of Neo-Synephrine 5 mg/ml, higher doses may need to be used.
Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. In addition to this contraindication, there are no other absolute contraindications to the use of phenylephrine in nasal drops. However, the use of NeoSinephrine is not recommended in patients with glaucoma, depression or those treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
