Neo-Synephrine is indicated in all situations where there is nasal congestion, such as coryza, rhinitis, and sinusitis.

Active substances: Phenylephrine hydrochloride.

Phenylephrine is a very effective topical vasoconstrictor.

Dosage and method of administration:

Neo-Synephrine 2.5 mg/ml is especially intended for use in children, its use in adults being limited to particularly sensitive individuals. Neo-synephrine 2.5 mg/ml is not recommended for children under 6 years of age. In children under 6 years of age, consult a doctor in advance. In children aged 6 to 12 years, the recommended dose is 2 to 3 drops of the 2.5 mg/ml solution in each nostril, at 3 to 4 hour intervals. The maximum daily intake of 24 drops should not be exceeded. In children over 12 years of age and adolescents, the recommended dose is 3 to 4 drops of a 2.5 mg/ml solution in each nostril, at intervals of 3 to 4 hours, and Neo-Sinephrine, 5 mg/ml nasal drops. The maximum daily intake of 32 drops should not be exceeded In particularly sensitive adults, in whom the use of NeoSinephrine 2.5 mg/ml is considered indicated, instead of Neo-Synephrine 5.0 mg/ml, doses may need to be used. bigger. Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. However, the use of NeoSinephrine is not recommended in patients with glaucoma, depression or those treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
