Reumolide 10mg/g Gel 100g

Reumolide 10mg/g Gel is indicated for the symptomatic treatment (relief of pain, inflammation and swelling) of: mild to moderate muscle pain; post-traumatic inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints (sprains, strains and bruises); Localized forms of degenerative rheumatism: osteoarthritis of the peripheral joints and spine.

Active substances: diclofenac.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults: Reumolide 10 mg/g Gel should be applied to the skin 3 or 4 times a day, rubbing lightly. The amount needed depends on the dimensions of the painful area. For example, 2-4 grams of Reumolide (amounts whose approximate dimensions vary between a cherry and a walnut) is enough to treat an area of approximately 400-800 cm2. Hands should be washed after application, unless these are the areas to be treated. The duration of treatment depends on the indication and the response obtained. A treatment evaluation is recommended after 2 weeks.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Patients in whom attacks of asthma, urticaria or acute rhinitis are precipitated by acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
