Paracetamol Algik 32mg/ml Oral Solution 120ml

Paracetamol Algik 32mg/ml Oral Solution is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and for the symptomatic treatment of fever lasting no more than 3 days.

Active substances: 32mg/ml paracetamol.

Paracetamol exerts analgesic and antipyretic action.

Dosage and method of administration:

The dosage of Paracetamol Algik by mouth depends on the age and body weight of the patient. The recommended single dose is 15 mg/kg per administration. For medicinal products in combination with paracetamol (which is acetaminophen) care should be taken that the maximum daily dose cannot be exceeded. Paracetamol should not be given to children under the age of 3 months. Unless medically indicated otherwise, the dosage schedule mentioned in the package leaflet is recommended. The dosages mentioned are indicative only and the doctor's recommendations must be taken into account. Single doses may be repeated up to a maximum of 4 times in 24 hours with an interval of at least 4 hours between each administration.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Paracetamol is contraindicated in case of severe liver disease.
