Apoquel 16mg 100 tablets

Apoquel is a medicine used to treat itching associated with allergic dermatitis in dogs and the clinical manifestations of atopic dermatitis in dogs.

Active substance: Oclacitinib

Dosage and route of administration:

The recommended starting dose is 0.4 to 0.6 mg / kg of oclacitinib, administered orally, twice daily, for 14 days.

For maintenance therapy (after the initial 14 days), the same dose should be administered (0.4 to 0.6 mg / kg), once a day.

The need for long-term maintenance therapy should be based on an individual risk-benefit assessment carried out by the responsible veterinarian.

Apoquel can be administered together with food, or separately.

APOQUEL should not be used in dogs under 12 months of age, or in dogs with severe infections.
