Elastolabo Ointment increases the elasticity of the muscles and tissues of the pelvic wall, potentially reducing the risk of trauma to the perineum and episiotomies during childbirth and postpartum complications.
Characteristics:
- It acts in the extensibility and recovery phases of tissue elasticity, through the elasticizing, lubricating and soothing properties of its ingredients.
Usage advice:
Wash your hands carefully before applying Elastolabo . It must be applied externally during perineal massage, every day from the 32nd week of pregnancy, until delivery. Perineal massage should begin by applying Elastolabo around the external genital tract (labia majora and labia minora), with circular movements of the thumb in order to increase blood circulation. The massage should last around 15 minutes. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the product. In the following cases, perineal massage should be avoided: pregnancy with risk of premature birth, or placenta previa.
