Vibrocil Actilong 1mg/ml Nebulized Inhalation Solution

Vibrocil Actilong is indicated for the relief of nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis and sinusitis, in the affections of the nasal sinuses, in order to facilitate the drainage of secretions, in otitis media, as an adjuvant, in the congestion of the rhinopharyngeal mucosa and to facilitate rhinoscopy.

Active substances: Each ml of nasal drops, solution contains 1.0 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride.

Posology and method of administration:

Adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older 1 spray in each nostril, 3 times a day as needed. Do not exceed a maximum of 3 applications per day in each nostril. Before first use, press the spray pump 4 times. Once full, the pump will remain charged for the period of regular daily use. If spraying does not occur when the pump is fully pressed, or if the product has not been used for more than 7 days, it must be refilled by pressing the pump 4 times as done before the first use. Blow your nose. Tilt forward slightly and insert the applicator into one nostril. Press the bottle and gently inhale at the same time. Remove the applicator from the nostril before relieving pressure on the bottle. Clean and dry the applicator after use before putting the cap on. To avoid possible contamination, the spray should only be used by one person.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. It must not be used in patients undergoing transsphenoidal hypophysectomy or surgery exposing the dura. Patients with angle-closure glaucoma.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
