Effipro 268mg Large Dogs it is indicated for the treatment and prevention of infestations by fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks (Dermacentor reticulatus) in dogs.

The insecticidal efficacy against new adult flea infestations is 8 weeks. The veterinary medicinal product has a persistent acaricidal efficacy for up to 4 weeks against ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus). If ticks of some species (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus) are present when the veterinary medicine is applied, they may not all be killed within the first 48 hours but may be killed within a week. The veterinary medicine can be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (DAPP), when it has been previously diagnosed by a veterinarian.

Posology and route of administration:

For external use only. Administer by topical application to the skin, according to body weight, as shown below: 1 pipette of 2.68 ml for a dog weighing more than 20 kg and up to 40 kg body weight.

Hold the pipette vertically. Press the narrow part of the pipette to ensure that the contents are in the main body of the pipette. Break the pipette fitting cap along the dashed line. Remove the animal's fur until the fur is visible. Place the tip of the pipette directly on the bare skin and gently squeeze several times to empty the contents. Repeat this procedure at one or two different points along the animal's back.
