Frontline Tri-Act is an easy-to-use medicine that kills your dog's external parasites in a solution for spot-on application, which contains fipronil and permethrin. It allows your dog to provide a high degree of flea and tick control and long-lasting repellent action against sandflies, mosquitoes, stable flies and ticks. It is intended for dogs only. DO NOT USE on cats or rabbits. It can be found in 5 different pipette sizes, for 5 weight ranges, from 2 to 60 kg, in boxes of 3 pipettes.

Active substances: Fipronil is an insecticide/acaricide whose characteristics include rapid action, high safety profile and long-lasting effect. Permethrin belongs to Type 1 of the pyrethroid class, and is an insecticidal and acaricidal molecule that has a repellent action against sandflies, mosquitoes and ticks.

Indications:

Fleas: For the treatment and prevention of flea infestations and prevention of Ctenocephalides canis infestations. One treatment prevents new flea infestations for 4 weeks.

Ticks: Treatment and prevention of tick infestations. One treatment eliminates and repels ticks for 4 weeks after treatment, and repels Dermacentor reticulatus from 7 days to 4 weeks after treatment.

Sand flies and mosquitoes: Repels sandflies for 3 weeks and mosquitoes for 4 weeks. Eliminates sandflies and mosquitoes for 3 weeks.

Stable flies: Repels and eliminates stable flies for 5 weeks.

Recommendations:

It is important to make regular applications throughout the year, even before observing the presence of fleas or ticks, in order to avoid the installation of the parasite's life cycle in the environment. It is recommended to apply the product to all animals in the house, even those that do not go outside. Choose the product that best adapts to the weight of each animal. Do not hesitate to weigh your animal regularly to avoid dosage errors. In the case of dogs weighing more than 60 kg, a combination of pipettes appropriate to the animal's weight must be used.

Usage advice:

Remove the blister card from the packaging and separate one blister. Use scissors to cut the blister along the dotted line (or fold and tear the marked corner), remove the pipette and hold it upright. Cut the tip of the pipette with scissors. Separate the hair until the skin is visible. Bring the pipette tip close to the skin. Squeeze the pipette, applying about half of the contents to the middle of the neck between the base of the skull and the shoulder blades. Repeat the application at the base of the neck between the shoulder blades to empty the pipette. For best results, ensure the product is applied directly to the skin, not the fur.
