Pestigon Dogs It is indicated for the treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis). The product has an immediate insecticidal effect and persistent insecticidal activity against new adult flea infestations for up to 8 weeks. The product has persistent acaricidal efficacy against Ixodes ricinus up to 2 weeks, Rhipicephalus sanguineus up to 3 weeks and Dermacentor reticulatus up to 4 weeks. If ticks of these species are present when the product is applied, not all ticks will die within the first 48 hours, but they may die within a week.

Posology and method of administration:

Administer by topical application to the skin. For external use only.

Dogs from 2 to 10 kg bw.: 1 pipette of 0.67 ml (67 mg).

Dogs from 10 to 20 kg bw.: 1 pipette of 1.34 ml (134 mg).

Dogs from 20 to 40 kg bw.: 1 pipette of 2.68 ml (268 mg).

Dogs from 40 to 60 kg bw.: 1 4.02 ml pipette (402 mg).

Dogs over 60 kg bw.: 2 pipettes of 2.68 ml.

Hold the pipette vertically. Lightly tap the narrow part of the pipette to ensure that its contents are completely contained in the main body of the pipette. Break the top of the pipette along the marked line. Spread the animal's hair between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the pipette tip against the skin and gently squeeze, in one or two places, to empty its contents onto the skin.
