Danofen 200mg/10ml Oral Suspension 20 sachets
Non-prescription drug indicated for the relief of mild to moderate pain and fever.
Danofen 200mg/10ml Oral Suspension is indicated for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, including migraine headache, toothache, muscle pain, bruise and post-traumatic pain; primary dysmenorrhea and fever.
Active substance: 200 mg of ibuprofen.
Ibuprofen is an NSAID, derived from propionic acid, which has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic activity.
Dosage and method of administration:
The dose of ibuprofen depends on the patient's age, body weight and clinical condition. Mild to moderate pain and fever: Adults and adolescents over 12 years (≥40 kg): 200-400 mg given as a single dose up to 3-4 times daily with an interval of 4 to 6 hours. Dosage in migraine headache should be: 400 mg given as a single dose, if necessary 400 mg at 4 to 6 hour intervals. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 1200 mg. Children 6-12 years (>20 kg): Children 6-9 years (20-29 kg): 200 mg 1-3 times daily at 4-6 hour intervals as needed. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 600 mg. Children 10-12 years (30-40 kg): 200 mg 1-4 times daily at 4-6 hour intervals as needed. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 800 mg. Primary dysmenorrhea: Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 200-400 mg 1-3 times daily at 4-6 hour intervals as needed. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 1200 mg. Danofen is administered orally, preferably after meals. The suspension must be homogenized before being taken by pressing the top and bottom of the sachet with your fingers several times. It can be taken directly from the sachet or diluted in water.
