Features:

• Sterile aqueous solution, without preservatives, hypotonic and with neutral pH.
• Provides immediate comfort that lasts throughout the day.
• Contains a solution that can be applied to the eyes or contact lenses. Since it does not contain preservatives, it maintains the integrity of ocular tissues, so it can also be used by contact lens wearers of any type.
• The physical-chemical characteristics of trehalose confer protective, antioxidant and moisturizing properties. Thus, it constitutes an essential element in the anhydrobiotic mechanism observed in certain microorganisms (a slower metabolic state that allows them to survive in situations of extreme dehydration).
• Trehalose also has properties that allow the protection and stabilization of cell membranes, preventing the alteration of proteins and the deterioration of lipids, as well as antioxidant properties.
• Sodium hyaluronate is a polysaccharide that exists in the human eye and has unique water retention properties. Its important water retention properties result in increased hydration and lubrication of the corneal surface. In addition, its bioadhesive properties provide a better adhesion of the product to the surface of the eye, which allows for long-lasting relief and a reduction in the time needed for healing of the cornea.

• For maximum tolerance, Thealuz duo is a solution that does not contain preservatives, thanks to the ABAK® multidose bottle. This innovative and patent-registered device allows the instillation of eye drops through a membrane with a 0.2 µm filter, which prevents contamination of the solution by bacteria. The solution is thus protected and can be used up to 3 months after opening the bottle.

Directions for use:

Wash hands thoroughly before using. Avoid touching the eyes or eyelids with the tip of the bottle, especially if you have an eye infection. Instill a drop into the lower conjunctival sac, looking up and slightly pulling the eyelid down. Replace the cap after use. 1 drop in each eye, 4 to 6 times a day. Can be used with contact lenses in place.
