Duspatal Retard 200mg 30 capsules
Non-prescription drug indicated in the symptomatic treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.
Duspatal Retard 200mg is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of irritable bowel syndrome. Adults and children over 10 years of age.
Active substance : 200mg of mebeverine.
Dosage and method of administration:
Adults and children over 10 years of age: One 200 mg capsule twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening. The recommended dose should not be exceeded. The duration of treatment is not limited and must be adjusted to the patient's needs to ensure adequate symptom control. After a period of several weeks when the desired effect is achieved, the dose can be gradually reduced. In case of missing one or more doses, the patient must continue with the next dose according to the medical prescription; the missed dose(s) is (are) not to be taken in addition to the regular dose. For oral administration The capsules should be swallowed with a sufficient amount of water (at least 100 ml of water). Capsules should not be chewed as the coating is intended to ensure the sustained release mechanism.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Paralytic ileus.
