Description
Mucoral 400mg is a mucolytic adjuvant in the antibacterial treatment of respiratory infections in the presence of bronchial hypersecretion.
Active substance : 400mg of carbocysteine.
Carbocysteine promotes the improvement of the rheological qualities of the respiratory mucus (viscosity, elasticity, adhesiveness); normalization of mucociliary transport by action on mucus and mucosa; and decreased airway resistance.
Dosage and method of administration:
For adults. Oral route. The usual recommended dosage is 1 to 2 capsules 3 times a day.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. In case of active gastroduodenal ulcer. In children under the age of 2 years.
