Bekunis 5 / 105mg 20 tablets

Bekunis is indicated as a laxative for simple constipation and intestinal atony. It ensures the proper functioning of the digestive system and prevents intestinal sluggishness. Taking Bekunis coated tablets causes a laxative action that begins immediately, as well as inducing the normalization of defecation frequency.

Active substances: 60 mg of senna follicle powder, 20 mg of senna leaflet powder, 25 mg of dry aqueous extract of senna follicle and 5 mg of bisacodyl.

Bisacodyl is a diphenylmethane stimulant laxative used in the treatment of constipation and in bowel evacuation prior to surgery or diagnostic examination. It increases colic motility and intestinal secretion of water, electrolytes and proteins. The active substances in Senna leaves and fruits, sennosides (known as sennosides A and B), are anthraquinone glycosides with stimulant laxative properties.

Dosage and method of administration:

Bekunis , coated tablets should be taken at night, at bedtime. The recommended dosage is 1 to 2 tablets per day, in a single dose, and should be swallowed with a glass of water.
