Microlax 270mg/3ml+27mg/3ml Rectal Solution 6x3ml

Microlax 270mg/3ml+27mg/3ml Rectal Solution is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of rectal or recto-sigmoid constipation; encopresis; constipation during pregnancy, constipation associated with childbirth and surgery (pre and post-operative use) and preparation of the rectum and sigmoid for endoscopic examinations.

Active substances: Sodium citrate and sodium laurylsulfoacetate.

Microlax evacuates the rectum and colon through a process of peptization of fecal matter. This phenomenon at the molecular level causes a softening of the feces providing a smooth defecation without affecting the mucosa and without causing any local or systemic reactions.

Dosage and method of administration:

Children up to 3 years: In most cases, one tube of MICROLAX at 270 mg/3 ml + 27 mg/3 ml is sufficient. Remove the cannula cap, break the cannula seal. Slightly compress the tube until a drop appears at the end of the cannula. Introduce the cannula into the rectum. Completely compress the tube. Remove the cannula, keeping the tube compressed.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients.
