Fenivir 10mg/g Cream 2g

Fenivir 10mg/g Cream is indicated for the treatment of herpes labialis infections in adults (including the elderly) and children over 12 years of age.

Active substance: penciclovir.

Penciclovir has been shown to have in vivo and in vitro activity against herpes simplex virus (types 1 and 2) and varicella zoster virus.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults (including the elderly) and children over 12 years of age: Fenivir cream should be applied approximately 2 hours apart. Fenivir can be applied with clean fingers, or with a single-use applicator (for packages containing this application device), in an amount sufficient for the area to be treated. Treatment should be continued for 4 days. Treatment should be instituted as soon as possible, right after the first sign of infection.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
