Paramolan Paramolan Caf 500mg/65mg is indicated in adults and children aged 12 years and over for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever. The treatment of mild to moderate pain includes: symptoms associated with flu and colds, headache, including migraine, toothache and pain resulting from dental interventions, odynophagia, dysmenorrhea, muscle pain and post-traumatic pain. If you do not feel better or get worse after 3 days (if you have a fever) or after 5 days (if you are in pain), you must consult a doctor.

Active substances: 500mg paracetamol and 65mg caffeine.

The antipyretic action of paracetamol must have a central origin. Heat loss is increased by dilation of skin vessels and sweating. Caffeine acts as an adjunct to the analgesic effect of paracetamol. On the other hand, caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant and decreases fatigue often associated with pain.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults (including the elderly) and children over 15 years of age weighing more than 50 kg: 1 to 2 tablets 3 to 4 times daily (every 6 to 8 hours) as needed. Maximum daily dose: 3000 mg/390 mg (paracetamol/caffeine) (6 tablets in 24 hours). Children 12 to 15 years old (weighing less than 50 kg): 1 tablet, 3 to 4 times a day (every 6 to 8 hours) as needed. Maximum daily dose: 2000 mg/260 mg (paracetamol/caffeine) (4 tablets in 24 hours). The maximum daily dose of 3 g of paracetamol, ie 6 tablets per day, must not be exceeded. There should be at least an interval of 4 hours between administrations. Paramolan Café is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Oral route. Take the tablets with a sufficient amount of water.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Severe liver failure. Acute hepatitis. Children under the age of 12 years.

If in doubt or if symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
