Paramolan C 500mg+250mg Powder for Oral Solution 20 sachets

Paramolan C 500mg+250mg Powder for Oral Solution is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of conditions accompanied by pain or fever, especially in cases of flu syndromes and colds.

Active substances: 500mg paracetamol and 250mg ascorbic acid.

The antipyretic action of paracetamol must have a central origin. Heat loss is increased by dilation of skin vessels and sweating. Vitamin C makes it possible to supply an eventual deficiency in ascorbic acid, which can lead to scurvy, a condition that rarely occurs in children and adults.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and children over 12 years of age: Pour the contents of one or two sachets into a cup of cold or hot water, 4 times a day. Sugar can be added to the solution. The evening dose can be prepared as a sugary hot drink. Maximum dose: Adults - 4 g of paracetamol, ie 8 sachets per day. Children over 12 years of age - 3 g of paracetamol, ie 6 sachets per day. Paramolan C is intended for oral administration after dissolving the contents of the sachets in water.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Severe liver disease and/or kidney failure. Deficiency in glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase. Porphyria and hepatic porphyria.
