The SpecialNeeds feeding system is designed for babies who cannot create a vacuum due to certain syndromes and neurological disorders, or because they were born with a cleft lip or palate.
The SpecialNeeds teat is designed to allow the baby to use compression when he is unable to create a vacuum to extract the liquid. The one-way valve prevents air from entering the teat. The caregiver can easily control the flow of milk thanks to the groove valve mechanism.
The SpecialNeeds feeding system can be used with teats of two different sizes.
Benefits of the SpecialNeeds teat
The line on the teat helps the caregiver to find the right position (three different streams).
The groove valve makes the teat sensitive to any sucking effort and closes completely when the baby wants to stop. The one-way valve prevents air from entering the teat.
The SpecialNeeds teat is available in standard size. If the size of the baby's oral cavity needs the smaller Mini SpecialNeeds teat, just replace the teat.
The SpecialNeeds teat can be reused after cleaning according to the instructions for use.
