Emla Dressing 25mg/g+25mg/g 2 impregnated dressings

Emla Patch 25mg/g+25mg/g is indicated for topical anesthesia of intact skin, prior to needle insertion, eg. intravenous catheters or blood sampling or superficial surgical procedures in adults and the pediatric population.

Active substance : 25 mg of lidocaine and 25 mg of prilocaine.

Dosage and method of administration:

Cutaneous use. After separating the protective coating and applying the patch to the skin, press firmly on the outer edges only. Do not press on the center of the dressing. This can cause the Emla emulsion to leak onto the adhesive part and compromise adhesion. Emla plaster must be applied at least 1 hour before the procedure. If necessary, remove hair in the area before application. The dressing cannot be cut or divided into smaller pieces. Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Hypersensitivity to amide-type local anesthetics.
